Joseph Kulah Junior

Mission Director

Joseph Kulah Junior was born in Nimba County, Liberia. He is a devout Catholic who is passionate about education. Mr. Kulah has been a teacher all his life, and formally received his degree in secondary education with a focus in mathematics in 2016. He is a proud husband and the proud father to 4 children: 3 boys and 1 girl.

Before his recent promotion to Mission Director, Mr. Kulah was the Assistant Director of Liberia Mission. Mr. Kulah also served as principal of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School on Liberia Mission. He is a beloved member of the community and is recognized by former students everywhere he goes. Mr. Kulah is an avid reader and loves to spend his time reading novels and cheering on his favorite team, Chelsea.

Flomo R. Kerkula

Assistant Director

Flomo Kerkula was born in Lofa County, Liberia. He came to Liberia Mission in 2008, where he attended St. Anthony of Padua School before graduating from St. Kizito High School. Flomo continued his education at the University of Liberia, where he studied Public Administration. He graduated in March of 2022.

He is a baptized Catholic and married to his lovely wife Catherine with whom he is raising 3 daughters. He would love to invite all visitors to the Mission to come and try tobogee, his favorite soup and the food for which his home county is famous!

Joseph “Joey” Neuhauser

Communications and Operations Officer

Joseph “Joey” Neuhauser was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but spent most of his childhood in North Carolina. He was raised within the faith of reform Judaism, but after a long and winding road, he came to Christ in the past year and was baptized on June 5th, 2022. He received his degree in Global Studies from Long Island University Global, a small college where most of his time was spent in 14 different countries in 2021.

Currently, he is occupying the position of Communications and Operations Officer at Liberia Mission, and also assists with farm and labor projects. He is passionate about games, and spends much of his time playing cards, backgammon, basketball, and football with his friends and family.
