Legacy and Planned Giving
A planned gift allows you to support future generations of students at Liberia Mission through a will, trust, retirement account beneficiary designation, or life insurance policy. Legacy giving is one of the most meaningful ways to extend the impact of a lifetime of generosity.
Create a Legacy of Hope
Your planned gift to Franciscan Works helps transform the lives of vulnerable youth at Liberia Mission. Your generosity is a powerful way to answer God’s call to support our brothers and sisters in need by providing stability, instilling hope, and sharing Christ’s love.
We have provided example bequest language in the FAQs section below for how you can leave Franciscan Works in your will or trust, though we recommend working with an advisor to finalize any bequest language:

The Impact of Legacy and Planned Giving
Liberia Mission exists today because people chose to invest in children they would never meet. For years, children who arrived at Liberia Mission with little stability or opportunity have left with an education, a community, and a future. Some of those students are now raising families of their own.
Recently, a generous supporter chose to leave Franciscan Works a significant gift through her estate. Her generosity strengthened the long-term stability of our mission and helped ensure that future generations of children can continue to receive care, education, and opportunity. Her gift serves as a reminder that the impact of generosity does not end in a lifetime—it can continue for generations.
Today, Liberia Mission is home to 32 children in our residential program and provides education to more than 600 students. Beyond our campus, our mission reaches hundreds of families and touches thousands of lives throughout Liberia.
A legacy gift ensures the next generation will have the same opportunity: a home, an education, a community, and hope for the future.
