20 Years Ago Today …

Today is Liberia Mission's 20th Anniversary!

On November 3rd, 2003, just as the dust was settling from the second Liberian Civil War, Liberia Mission was founded and Franciscan Works began providing operational and financial support. Liberia Mission started with 20 refugee children in a rented space and has grown into a 10-acre campus with over 450 students and an adjoining 15-acre farm property!

The early years of Liberia Mission.

Today Liberia Mission includes:

● Residential homes for over 30 students who are orphaned or have no local family.

● St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School that provides a quality Catholic education to over 450 students in preschool-9th grade.

● St. Michael the Archangel, a Catholic church that welcomes and serves the community at large.

● A 15-acre farm and a student-run piggery that teach animal husbandry and farming skills to students, while providing sustainable income for the Mission.

We are deeply grateful for these past 20 years in Liberia, and we are thrilled to see what God has in store for Liberia Mission in the future!

We invite you to consider donating to Liberia Mission today in honor of their 20th anniversary! Your donation supports Liberia Mission's residential program, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, food, clothing, and medical care for students, and so much more!

Please keep our students and staff in your prayers. They pray for you!
