Elena Bettis, Director of Operations
Elena formed a love for the international development field while working on projects related to child health in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Israel during college. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, she worked as a chef and event planner, focusing mainly on fundraisers for nonprofits. Elena then pursued a Master of Arts in Christian Formation at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, where she studied the connection between spirituality, culture and community development.
